Lawrence is Executive Director of IP and Legal and Corporate Secretary at Addition, overseeing Addition’s intellectual property strategy, corporate governance, and legal operations. He brings extensive experience in both biotechnology and corporate law, with a background that spans leading global and emerging life science companies. Before joining Addition, Lawrence was Senior Counsel at Amgen, advising on complex IP and transactional matters. Earlier in his career, Lawrence held legal and IP roles at DuPont, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Medarex, and Morrison & Foerster. Lawrence earned a law degree from Santa Clara University and both a PhD in Pharmacology and a BS in Biology from UCLA. He is passionate about advancing innovation through thoughtful and strategic legal partnerships.
